It was with deep regret we heard of the death of Ray Brunton on Saturday 15th February 2003 at the age of 35. 

Ray played for both the Oakwood and the Brookside in the Southend Ex-Service Darts League, winning the League, Bowman Shield and the Fours with the Brookside.    He won the League and Runner Up in the Bowman Shield with the Oakwood. 

He played for the Oakwood in the Southend Licensed Victuallers League for many years and also played for Eastwood in the Essex Superleague.

Ray lived with his fiancee, Lyn, in Eastwood.
